Bringing God’s healing, strength, and comfort to those who are ill or in need of spiritual care.
The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing administered to those who are seriously ill, elderly, preparing for surgery, or experiencing physical or emotional suffering.
Through the anointing with holy oil and the prayers of the priest, the faithful receive:
Spiritual strength and peace
Comfort in times of suffering
God’s grace and healing
Courage to endure illness and recovery
This sacrament reminds us that Christ remains close to those who suffer and carries them with love and compassion.
